Hi Logistics was launched as a logistics subsidiary of LG Electronics in January, 2004. All of us here at Hi Logistics share the vision of becoming a global e-logistics leader, to emerge as the world?s best e-logistics company. After a year of hard work securing logistics innovation, we have drastically improved our customer service quality and logistics costs. In recognition of this accomplishment, we were presented with the Industrial Service Medal at the 2005 Logistics Awards.

In March 2005, we established a subsidiary in China, with the backing of our management skills acquired to date, internally developed IT system, process innovation, and experience in operation. In October 2005, we established a European subsidiary (in the Netherlands), as a gateway into Europe. In February 2007, we launched our Spanish branch. We have dispatched our logistics experts to 18 LG Electronics overseas subsidiaries to implement logistics cost cutting and improve service quality. In this way we have positively contributed to increasing our parent company LG Electronics' sales and improving its bottom line. In the meantime, in October 2006, we became engaged in the transportation business, and are striving to provide customer-oriented high-quality transportation service to corporate shippers.

We believe logistics are a central tool in shippers' marketing process to add value for customers. With a view to securing key logistics competitiveness, we have made extensive efforts to improve customer satisfaction, to further spur process innovation, to structure high-tech logistics systems (WMS, WOS, TMS, ERP), to innovate customer-oriented home delivery, to secure global logistics capabilities, and to foster talented people in logistics.
