LG Electronics Lends a Helping Hand

Since 1994, LG Electronics has endeavored to minimize its impact on the environment, from product development to final product.

"For many industries and many companies these are difficult times, but for individuals, it is even worse. We appreciate that fact and our goal is to make a real difference to those lives," he said.

"In the past month, LG Electronics has supported several causes through its participation in community events," he said. "The Al Noor fundraising event and the fight against arthritis are just a couple of the projects that we have supported, but we will continue to be as active as possible and contribute as much as we can.“

LG Electronics' inspiration does not end with its technological innovations. The company practices the value of giving back to society with a variety of social programmes that bring people together across all cultures. LG Electronics has helped to build trust and secure business sustainability, which has only been made possible by becoming a responsible and caring corporate citizen.

LG Electronics operates its corporate citizenship programmes by forming partnerships between executives and employees, customers and communities, and related NPO/NGOs. LGE focuses on the areas of social

welfare, education environmental activities by providing sponsorship and financial aid. As a global corporate citizen, LGE demonstrates its community responsibilities wherever it conducts business and with a commitment to long-term results.

"These are tough times and, as a technology leader and a socially responsible company, it is not a condition of success to give something back to the community? it is our duty. It's simply the right thing to do," said Mr. Paik.
