LG has introduced 5 new products at IFA 2009, held in Berlin

Specifically designed to address the needs of today’s households and provide optimum hygiene in the home environment, these new products deliver energy-saving and performance-enhancing technology whilst not compromising on aesthetic appeal. The balance of design with health and energy-efficient functionality results from LG’s work with leading research company Synovate, to research and understand consumer habits and health concerns.

 

RoBoking – LG’s 

LG’s new robot vacuum cleaner the Roboking, uses a unique combination of ultrasonic and infrared sensors, enabling the robot vacuum cleaner to move intelligently, minimizing collisions and vacuuming time - making cleaning an effortless job!

11KG Washing Machine

For those who have limited time but don’t want their washing machine to be any larger, this new washer is a godsend. It offers a dramatically increased one-time wash load but the same outer dimension as competing products! Backed by proprietary Inverter Direct Drive™ technology – an innovative damping system and fixed outer tub. The machines features the industry’s largest 11-kilogram wash load and 78-litre drum volume in a standard 24” cabinet, offering total efficiency for extremely heavy-duty loads. 

New Side-by- side refrigerator – offers maximum storage with minimum environment footprint

LG introduced its new side-by-side refrigerator which is specifically designed for large capacity storage and top-level energy efficiency. It boasts an enormous 617-litre capacity – volume of approx. 2,460 small (250ml) Coca Cola cans --but does not extend beyond the depth of standard size refrigerators. Using its expertise in technical innovation, LG developed a slimmer mechanical system to create more interior storage space while maintaining the refrigerator’s overall dimensions. Furthermore, with door-mounted ice maker, home bar, and additional drawers and shelves, the refrigerator exceeds consumer expectations of side-by-side refrigerators by making food easier to find thanks to its neat and organized storage options.

Kompressortm – new bag-less steam vacuum cleaner

The new model features LG’s most advanced technologies including its world-first motorized compressor and a Sani Punch nozzle which helps reduce allergens. New LG KOMPRESSORTM also includes a steam feature that enables customers to both vacuum and mop together, which saves time and helps upgrade consumers’ lives by providing a cleaner, more hygienic home.

With the new Steam SolarCUBE, LG consumers instantly transform themselves into amateur home chefs. The Steam SolarCUBE helps deliver quality dishes without the hassle of making a reservation at a restaurant, pick the perfect outfit, worry about finding convenient parking, and then spend a large amount of money on a meal that might not live up to expectations.
