LG Backs Gulf’s Retail Boom – Opens First Exclusive Brand Showroom In The UAE
The global consumer electronic market is projected to reach US$ 2,976.1 billion by 2020 according to a latest report by Future Market Insights[i]. Dubai being a regional hub for some of the biggest technology brands, puts the country in the forefront of the global electronics market. Capitalizing on these opportunities, LG Electronics has announced the opening of its first exclusive brand showroom in the UAE.
Located on Level 2 of one of the world’s largest shopping destination – the Dubai Mall and spread across 300 sq. meters the new showroom will serve as a one-stop destination for customers, housing an expansive line-up of LG’s latest and innovative products.
The event hosted by Mr. Kevin Cha, CEO of LG Electronics MEA and Mr. Yong Geun Choi, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE was attended by Mr. Eqbal Al Yousuf, President of Al Yousuf LLC and Mr. Ahmed Al Yousuf, CEO of Al Yousuf LLC. Also gracing the occasion was H.E. Laila Mohammad Suhail, CEO of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE). Long term partners and VIP customers also made an appearance at the opening, fortifying LG’s presence in the region.

Showcasing an intuitive and refreshed new layout, the outlet is specifically designed to showcase LG’s cutting-edge technology from across different business units including Home Appliances, Home Entertainment, Mobile Communications, IT and Residential AC, providing a fully immersive hands-on experience. A complete portfolio of LG Electronics premium range of products will be showcased within dedicated corners in the showroom.
LG’s latest ultra-smart phone – V10 and the world’s lightest PC- the LG Gram are some of the key highlights at the newly opened showroom in Dubai Mall.V10 is already available for consumers across the region while the LG Gram makes a debut with a soft launch and would be made available to consumers from the first quarter of 2016.
The LG V10 is the first ‘V’ series phone delivering a rich multimedia experience for today’s socially-savvy consumers. Distinctively, the 14-inch LG Gram PC can be easily taken anywhere, as it features an extremely lightweight, streamlined design.

LG has plans to open more brand stores across the region and more details will be unveiled at a later stage.
