The LG LED MiniBeam Projector (Model PG60G) is the star of the show in the latest online video from LG Electronics (LG). The supporting character is Juan, a multimedia artist who takes his MiniBeam to town, finding creative ways to engage his unassuming audience, all involving the city as his backdrop. Like a skilled street magician, Juan is able to take advantage of the projector’s compact size and host of features to connect with his audience in some eye-opening ways. The LG LED MiniBeam Projector fits easily in the palm of one’s hand, providing exceptional transportability. Whereas most other portable nano projectors are difficult to view outside of a pitch dark room, MiniBeam is powered by LEDs (estimated lifespan: 30,000 hours) projecting a bright beam of 500 ANSI Lumens with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1. With a viewable 1280 x 800p WXGA image when projected in 16:9 widescreen format, large and small groups alike can enjoy the show in most dim environments.

“We designed the MiniBeam with an emphasis on providing superb versatility,” said Hyoung-sei Park, head of the IT Business Division at LG Electronics. “Compact and extremely portable, the MiniBeam gives users the freedom to enjoy large-format videos and photos anywhere they go. As demonstrated by our latest video, MiniBeam offers a truly unique viewing experience.”

Designed with a charming, modern-vintage aesthetic, the MiniBeam sits vertically, requiring very little tabletop or floor space. It’s the ideal device for spontaneously sharing content with family and friends. The MiniBeam comes with a rechargeable battery incorporated into a detachable cradle to further enhance portability and offers multiple connectivity options such as HDMI, USB 2.0 and WiDi, allowing users to quickly and easily project movies, photographs or even presentations and spreadsheets.
