Is it normal when the refrigerator sides get hot?(Commercial refrigerator/freezer)
Symptom
■ Sides of a refrigerator get hot
Cause
■ Sides of a refrigerator might appear hot as heat generated by the compressor is drawn to the sides to prevent condensation and improve adhesion of the door seal.
1. Compressor generates heat as it runs. Heat is not given off when it stops.
2. It may appear hotter in summer or when the product is used for the first time as the compressor runs longer to make more cool air. Please be assured that it is safe to use the product.
