Has the door seal become weaken? (Standard/Commercial refrigerator, Freezer)
Symptom
■ The freezer door is not closed firmly.
Cause
The hot line(the heat pipe) is installed around the refrigerator/freezer door frame to maintain good elasticity of the door rubber seal to improve the adhesion. However, sealing can weaken due to obstacles on the seal or when outdated.
How to fix
1. Wipe the door seal with a washcloth soaked in hot water before use.
2. Apply hot (warm) air from a hair dryer to straighten the seal if a slight air gap occurs between the seal and door.
