My husband bought this product for me last Christmas. I have had issues with it from early on, such as it turning itself off in the middle of watching tv or a DVD. Had a warranty "repair" done on it, which included replacing the hard drive, but since having it back, it continues to turn itself off, a lot more frequently than before. I agree with others about the slow ff & rw.....had thought it was just me, but obviously not. Would not recommend this to anyone & will be trying for a replacement as it is not out of warranty yet.

Our first device & find it basically efficient.
However...I have been frustrated with the 2 features highlighted by other reviews - turning off when recording is finished & the slow fast forward without option of resuming. Must say if I had ploughed through all the reviews instead of a few, I would have looked at other products. Could LG come up with a software upgrade to fix these problems????

Product bandwidth issues
Does anyone have any idea how to change the bandwidth on this device. Agree with other posters, there are many fundamental issues with this product and here seems to be another. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very POOR product
I also have made a big mistake in purchasing this unit, I thouight it would compliment my 55" LG smart TV. There several issues I have.
1. If you are watching a pre recorded program and you are 3/4 hr into it and it becomes necessary to stop there is no bookmark provision which means when you wish to resume watching you need to fast forward which is extremely slow whilst concentrating to find where you previously were watching.
2.While recording a program you can not start watching until it has finished recording.
3.considerable lag between remote operations
4.Overall a very POOR LG PRODUCT.
5. If LG requires to remain competitive in this field, it needs to look at the issues raised and view them responsibly, and say to themselves YES YES YES we do have serious software problems with this model, after all Sales will certainly decline with your producta.

Not bad, but I'm a novice.. Share many of the views expressed by other reviews
I bought the HR925T spontaneously in David jones one afternoon and, given I had done no research paid over $500 (this was around Easter) needless to say I took it back and got them to price match with bing lee. I have to agree some of the features are annoying, switching to the recording channel, turning off the unit at end of recording, not being able to start watching program until its finished recording.. I never owned a unit like this before, bought the LG in good faith but prob wouldn't have if I had done my research. Would not recommend. But is it possible at a software upgrade could overcome some of these issues share on your page LG? That would redeem my faith in your brand! Yes, we consumers want it all these days!!
