Optimus Black (P970) 4.3 5 49 49
LG Optimus Black The Optimus Black is a solid smartphone, but one that could get lost in this increasingly noisy market. Its unique features, the NOVA display and its gesture controls are both a bit gimmicky, adding something to the smartphone experience that doesn't actually improve the experience in most common use cases. The enhanced outdoor screen visibility will appeal to some, but we'd prefer a richer image over a brighter image any day of the week. Bad experience I have had really bad experience with my handset.Within a few months hardware issue. Not getting charged. On doing a software update phone went crazy.Innumerable complaints, loss of time, money and energy. Finally got it rectified at the service centre. Now within 6 months of that experience facing multiple issues again.Touch screen has stopped responding and phone hangs more often then it works. 26 January 2014
freezes it's a good phone in general but every now and then it completely freezes!! i have taken the battery out and put back in but that only allows it to turn back on to freeze up straight again". anyone know why??? 13 April 2012
Optimus Black (P970) Nice video display and menus but why do you have to create an account just to access the calender? What are they thinking. audio on hands free is very raspy and distorted 23 March 2012
Optimus Black (P970) Very happy with this new phone- my first smart phone. Despite the comparisons saying others are better.... This does it all just fine with a bright screen, speed and clarity 4 March 2012

Life’s good when you don’t have to choose between performance and style- that’s why LG has packaged the latest technology into this sleek ensemble. With its 1GHz processor for smooth and fast switching between applications and a 4.0” ‘NOVA Display’ to deliver our clearest ever images.

The bright and crystal-clear display lets users see the screen in direct sunlight and provides a more natural web browsing experience by displaying truer colours.

The LG Optimus Black comes with the latest technology, such as Wi-Fi Direct, a 2MP front-facing camera, lower battery consumption and launches on Android 2.2 (Froyo) so you can access over 150,000 apps from the Android market.

There’s finally a fashionable phone that’s more than just a pretty face. The new LG Optimus Black.
