Older user comments after around 10 months - first Smartphone Main reason for selection was largest battery capacity at the time and dual SIM (using Optus with Telstra as spare). Not sure if the problems are the Google operating system or the phone. Took me about three weeks before I could answer a call. Swipe feature very poor. Keep missing messages -alert too soft? Haven't found the notifications adjustment or it seems to be very limited. Screen off button opposite volume button - often volume activated while turning off screen. No timed meeting mode. Can it read out SMS? In phone mode display the accept call often doesn't work very well. Was not able to accept any calls in the first two weeks. But kept trying. Need a power down / up feature to turn off GPS and dim screen and brighten screen. Rate phone as passable but would not trust it if working in a critical or emergency job. App and smartphone features work well but have duplicated screens. Not very intuitive. If screen is dimmed very hard to enter PIN in bright sunlight so you can brighten the screen. Good clear screen and colour definition. 9 September 2014
Only good feature is camera I read the reviews of this phone alone and bought it. I should have read the other phone reviews too ! Big mistake. Swipe to answer hardly works, so many calls missed even viber too. I receive so many calls and miss more than half every day. It was good initially when I only had skype and viber installed. Now with email and tuneinradio, it is super slow already and gets hot easily. Doesnt launch or close apps as quick as before, sometimes i wonder if I need to restart it. Happens when I even stop all applications when surfing net. Good for only two things, cameral quality is commendable. And its dual sim. touch sensor is the worst I've seen. Oh, I know why ur battery warranty is 6 mths. Now within minutes of charging, I can see it draining off. 4 June 2014
easy to use and larger screen I just bought this phone as a reasonably priced unlocked phone. Love the features and the larger screen is wonderful. I would recommend this phone to anyone. I really like it 21 March 2014
Great first smartphone Bought this phone for 12 yr old as first phone. Feature levels and specs are better than equiv priced Samsung phones. I have been an iPhone user for 3 years and I am impressed with the LG ease of use. Good camera and nice screen - nice resolution and 4.3" not too large and not too small. Love the fact that Android phones are expandable memory. Very happy with this phone 15 November 2013
