LG Optimus L7II (P716) White
Does not do the job for dual SIM.
I bought this phone assuming both SIM cards are active same time. But NO. If you are talking on one SIM card people can't reach you on second SIM card. I was using a chineese Coolpad7728 which takes calls on both SIMs at the same time. The hot key provided to switch between SIM cards is not a feature. It is a headache. It can be pressed easily in error and you do not notice it. So you will end up paying lot of money to your network provider while roaming.LG could have done without as there is a way in Settings to specify eg which SIM to use for Calls and which for Data. My exisitng Coolpad7728 hadles these things smartly. I thought LG would do better and wanted to upgrade for a branded one. Unfortunately I paid 2.5 times more than what I paid for Coolpad7728 and bought a worse phone. So if your requirement is making sure you do not miss a call on either SIM then please do not buy this phone. This appears a DUAL STANDBY not DUAL ACTIVE phone. If you are looking for a phone just to carry 2 SIM cards then there are more cheaper options in the market from most brands. I am an international traveller and need to carry one SIM from AU and another from NZ. I do get calls from both countries. Does not serve purpose. I am a Software Engineer and have been using Android for quite few years now.
Few Plus points though : Good battery, Good camera, good responsive touch screen, very good size and small weight.

SD card confusion
Love the phone, but a little confused as to why the SD memory card slot is designed for a mini SD and not a Micro SD. Instructions say not to use an adapter for micro to convert to a mini SD as this may cause damage. So where do you buy a mini SD?

Great phone! Best in it's price range.
Just got this phone a few days ago after my iphone died and being new to the Android format I find this phone even easier to use. There re only two things I think could be looked at... 1) The buttons at the bottom (especially the one in the right hand corner) I find are too easily touched, especially when you pick the phone up. I'm slowly getting use to holding it by the edges though. 2) The only other issue is that it advertises to have a 4GB internal memory yet when I go to the properties of the internal drive its just under 2GB! Don't know what the go is there. I'm heading out to buy a 32GB microSD card to fix my little storage problem anyway. Apart from those two things (which are fairly minor) I would recomend this phone to anyone. A great buy! Very impressed overall. Thanks LG!
