LG ELECTRONICS - IN TOUCH WITH MOBILE CONSUMERS

LG is cementing its leadership position in touch screen mobile phone technology by expanding its Touch Series with the introduction of a new range of models (KF600, KF510, KF700, KF390 and KS20). Carli Wilson, LG’s Marketing Manager of Mobile Communications says positive user experiences and the popularity of touch screen capabilities are driving demand for phones delivering both style and state-of-the-art technology.

Sydney, 13 June 2008: LG is cementing its leadership position in touch screen mobile phone technology by expanding its Touch Series with the introduction of a new range of models (KF600, KF510, KF700, KF390 and KS20). Carli Wilson, LG’s Marketing Manager of Mobile Communications says positive user experiences and the popularity of touch screen capabilities are driving demand for phones delivering both style and state-of-the-art technology.

“Today’s mobile phones are incredibly powerful communication and entertainment devices. To better utilise the capabilities of these devices and meet consumer demand, LG believes the touch screen interface is the future,” said Carli Wilson. Making it easy for consumers to interact with multimedia, including video, Internet and photos, LG’s Touch Series now includes: • PRADA Phone by LG (KE850) - LG’s first touch mobile.

• Viewty (KU990) - the professional level 5.0 mega pixel camera phone, 120 fps video recording, 3 inch LCD touch screen.

• KF600 – featuring convenient dual screen. The lower LCD screen is touch sensitive and changes depending on the selected function, for example, in camera mode the lower touch screen becomes a short cut for zoom/ flash.

• KF510 – with scratch resistant tempered glass LCD screen, slim metal body, touch navigation, 3.0 mega pixel camera, MP3 player. Joining LG’s Touch Series are the soon to be released KF700, KF390 and KS20:

• KF700 – incredibly convenient, the KF700 features a full touch screen with slide out keypad for easy use. The short cut dial gives the user ability to get to their favourite menus within a few simple steps.

• KF390 – featuring the Blue Tick of Approval on the Telstra Next G network, the KF390 is ideal for regional areas of Australia. The handset also boasts stylish design and touch navigation.

• KS20 – with full touch screen and contemporary design, the KS20 also includes a smart platform with Windows Live and WiFi wireless internet offering users optimum mobile internet capabilities.
