LG ELECTRONICS RECRUITS THREE OF THE BEST

LG Electronics Australia has announced the appointment of three new staff members to bolster its home appliance and home entertainment divisions.

April 8th, 2013, Sydney – LG Electronics Australia has announced the appointment of three new staff members to bolster its home appliance and home entertainment divisions.

Joining LG Electronics Australia is Jennifer Osborne, Home Appliances Marketing Manager, Natalie Shaw, Category Manager Home Appliances, and Bruce Leigh, Category Manager Home Entertainment.

Cannes Lions winner Jennifer Osborne joins LG Electronics from Reckitt Benckiser. An accomplished communications specialist with a solid background in marketing global home cleaning products including Vanish, Harpic and Airwick, Jennifer has a proven track record in the laundry and dishwashing categories.  Osborne’s consumer expertise is a valued addition to the Home Appliance team.

“I’m truly looking forward to working in an incredibly fast paced environment and becoming an integral part of a leading global brand,” says Osborne.

Natalie Shaw brings a vast amount of knowledge to the Home Appliances team with over ten years’ experience working in various marketing roles. Prior to joining LG, Shaw was the Consumer Brand Manager for Novartis, a top five pharmaceutical company, and is excited about the prospect of launching industry leading, innovative products in her new role.

“LG’s premium home appliances enable it to compete comfortably in an extremely competitive market. I’ll be working hard to ensure we achieve the position as market leader in each of the home appliance categories as well as overall leader in the market,” says Shaw.

Previously Brand Manager for the Beauty and Grooming Division at Proctor & Gamble, Bruce Leigh brings a plethora of branding experience to his appointment. With a strong passion for consumer electronics, Leigh is looking forward to making his mark on future communication campaigns at LG Australia.

“I’m thrilled to be working with a company renowned globally for creating innovative products which cater for consumer needs. I hope to play a key role in ensuring that LG becomes the undisputed number one in the consumer electronics category,” says Leigh. 

All three new members of the LG Electronics marketing team will play an instrumental role in the development of the LG Electronics brand in Australia.
