LG LAUNCHES ULTIMATE SPECTATOR TRADE PROMOTION
LG Electronics is arming valued retail floor staff with the tools to give their customers the best seat in the house this sporting season with the launch of its six week Ultimate Spectator incentive which kicks off today. Retailers are encouraged to visit the dedicated Ultimate Spectator site (www.lg.com.au/ultimatequiz) and correctly answer seven out of ten LG AV product questions to go in the draw to win weekly prizes.
Sydney, 7 July 2008: LG Electronics is arming valued retail floor staff with the tools to give their customers the best seat in the house this sporting season with the launch of its six week Ultimate Spectator incentive which kicks off today. Retailers are encouraged to visit the dedicated Ultimate Spectator site (www.lg.com.au/ultimatequiz) and correctly answer seven out of ten LG AV product questions to go in the draw to win weekly prizes.
With new questions online each Monday throughout the six week promotion, retail staff will have the chance to win individual prizes including LG Notebooks, $1000 grocery vouchers, $500 petrol vouchers and LG Home Theatre Systems plus many more. In addition, there is also the chance to win a store prize – a ‘Dream Maker’ voucher from Adrenalin.
The ultimate sports experience selected by the winning store - valued at up to $10,000, may include VIP tickets for the team to all the football finals plus a chance to attend the after parties, a private motorsport drive day or even a night out with team’s favourite sports star. LG is simultaneously launching a consumer Ultimate Spectator promotion.
Consumers will receive a bonus VISA pre-paid card when purchasing selected LG audio visual products* between now and 24 August 2008. According to Patricia Cheung Category Manager, Audio Visual and IT, the aim of the trade promotion is to assist sales staff to deliver effective audio visual recommendations inline with customer’s core requirements. “We are entering a period of increased interest for upgrading home entertainment in the lead-up to key global sporting events and high rating television programs, making the Ultimate Spectator campaign timely for both floor staff and consumers,” said Patricia Cheung. The Ultimate Spectator Quiz trade promotion runs 7 July – 17 August 2008.
