The Walt Disney Studios (Disney, Pixar, Marvel) 3D MOVIES NOW AVAILABLE ON LG CINEMA 3D SMART TV’s
LG Smart TV users are now able to experience the cinema-like 3D viewing experience with movies from Disney, Pixar & Marvel.
29th August 2012, Sydney– LG Electronics (LG) is bringing excitement back into Australian homes with today’s announcement that Disney, Pixar & Marvel film content is now available across its CINEMA 3D Smart TV range. The launch of the 3D movie service will let customers enjoy a selection of classic Disney entertainment in an immersive 3D environment, created by LG’s CINEMA SCREEN design.
Viewers will have the ability to initially choose from 15 new and recently released movie favourites including The Avengers and Toy Story 1 and 2.

From this month LG Smart TV owners will be able to purchase any of the 15 movies titles made available via their Smart TV. Content ranges from current release titles available on DVD/Blu-ray (at $7.59 per movie) to the previously released favourites, now made available in 3D, such as The Lion King and Toy Story ($6.59 per movie).

In celebration of the launch of The Walt Disney Studios titles, LG is offering consumers who purchase a new 2012 3D Cinema TV a $100 LG Apps credit that can be used to purchase the new 3D movie content.
The $100 credit and promotional offer will be available to customers to redeem online at au.lgappstv.com, when they sign up and create an LG AppsTV account . The promotion period is between 13th September – 7th November.
Once purchased the films will be available for viewing for 48 hours.
The availability of The Walt Disney Studios titles will provide LG Smart TV customers with even more options to view premium content.
Other current premium content providers available on LG Smart TVs include: Bigpond Movies, ABC iView, BigpondTV, Cnet, uctv.tm, AFL TV, NRL.TV, YouTube, Skype, CNBC, MLB.TV, Facebook, Accuweather.com, Google maps, Twitter, vTuner, Red Bull TV, SBS On-Demand and SMH.tv.
Promotional credits may be used onfor movies or games before they expire on 31st December 2012.
3D Movie content can also be viewed in 2D by switching the LG Smart TV to 2D mode.
Broadband internet service is required to access the Smart TV offering and data charges may apply.
