  USB 3.0 / 3.1 Not Recognizing on Windows 8 and above

Issue

  • This occurs due to incompatibility between LG Mobile Driver and Microsoft host controller driver which was included with Windows 8 to support some mainboard USB chipsets

  • When LG Mobile Driver ver. 4.1 or below is installed on PC, USB connection is not recognized when connecting to USB 3.0/3.1 port with USB 3.0 cable

  • Device manager in control panel displays yellow exclamation mark on LG USB device

Solution

  - Install the latest LG Mobile Driver(LG Mobile Driver ver. 4.2 or above)
