You have to install LG Mobile Support Tool application to download manual and software.

  • Download the LG Mobile Support Tool to your PC.
  • After Execution of LG Mobile Support Tool, Click Customer Support > Application, Manual & USB Driver Download menu.
  • Enter a value for "IMEI" or "serial number" in your phone and Search.
  • Download manual and software(Manual, PC sync, Drivers.)

  • 1GHz or higher Pentium-compatible processor
  • At least 256 MB of RAM (memory)
  • Windows 2000 (SP4 or later) or Windows XP (SP1 or SP2), Windows Vista, Windows 7
  • Administration rights on the PC for software installation
  • High-speed Internet connection
Software Upgrades include Device Drivers and Firmware Updates for specific Models only.
Not all Models support downloadable software upgrades.

What is PUK code?

After entering your SIM pin 3 times incorrectly your phone is PUK locked and you must obtain the code from your service provider. Note: If you have entered PIN/PUK 10 times the sim is permanently destroyed and a new sim will need to be reissued.

Why is the battery charge not lasting as long as advertised?

If you have your LCD backlight on permanently it will drain your battery rapidly. Please make sure it is set to 10 seconds at most. To do this: 1. Go to Menu-->Settings-->Phone Settings-->Display-->Backlight2. Set to 10 secs Note that this will set the time that the backlight is on for to 10 seconds.

What is the battery life of LG phones?

The battery life for LG mobile phones are: G7020 approx 120 hours standby time, 90 mins talk time G5300 approx 80 hours standby time, 60 mins talk time (due to high energy required by the phone for the light, ringtones, etc)

Why do I get timeout when synching my phone to a PC?

Please check the WAP settings on phone under Profile-->Telstra-->Settings-->Bearer and make sure that it is set to GPRS.Also in the LG Contents Bank, go to Tools--> Options and change the COM port from 1 to 2or vice versa and change the baud rate to 19,200.

How do I activate cell broadcast?

Answer Applicable models: G5300, G7020, G7100, G5400, U8100 1. Go to the messages menu and select info services 2. Select Topics --> New Topics3. Type in "50"(without the ears)4. Give the entry a name/title (does not matter what you naem it) 5. Select OK 6. In Info Services make sure that there is a tick in receive and alert

How do you download ringtones/screensavers on a G5300 or G7020?

Connect the phone to your computer via the data cable supplied and install the CD that came with it. Then start LG Contents Bank and download the ringtones and wallpaper from the CD. Please refer to your owner's manual for more information.
