What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome sound Received these as a promo item with my G6 smartphone. The sound is excellent (better than my Shure / ipod combo). The only thing that worries me is whether the earbud wires will stand up over time; they are very thin. Not sure I want this hanging around my neck when working out though. Maybe for jogging.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kinda fall short of expectation. I admit, I received these free with the purchase of my LG G6 phone, and what I'm about to say breaks the rule of "Looking a Gift Horse in the Mouth"... but it has to be said... The idea of these is great. The design is very nice. But the button layout is confusing, and the buttons used to "Retract" the headphones don't work properly. They are also placed in an irritating place, so turning your head while wearing the earbuds can, and does, sometimes retract the earphone cables tight. When it comes time to put them away, all the spring action is gone, and you are forced to pull them all the way out and retract them again... often multiple times... before it will retract to its little nesting spot. These had great potential, but the button layout is all over the place, and there's no sense to it. It's not like one side has all the Mobile Phone functions, and the other has all the Audio functions, no. They have buttons in approximately the same spots on both sides, and it's up to you to remember which slider does what, and which button does what. Because its twin is on the other side, and it doesn't have anything to do with the same thing you're trying to do. It just feels and acts the same. When you're trying to control tracks or calls, hitting the volume buttons doesn't help you. And when you're trying to tap the control button to voice-control your phone or make a call, hitting the play/pause button is, again, useless. Then there's the power switch which is on the inside edge of the neck line. Which means, if you have a large neck (like mine) and you turn your head left, you can click off the headset, and you can't feel around for the button, you have to take the whole thing off just to see you did this one stupid thing. Don't buy these. I admit I got them free, but I wouldn't buy them if given the option. There are better designs, like the HD 1 from Sennheiser, where the control buttons are all puled out past the neck band, and you can actually see what you're controlling at all times, with no buttons in the neck area.
