LG has always had their eye on the future. Nearly 20 years ago, LG founded the Life Soft Research Lab, and today our Corporate Design Center continues to experiment with new products and technologies. Our researchers, designers, and trend scouts work to predict the future by examining and identifying consumer needs; weighing the public's interest in products; and then developing concepts and solutions based on their findings. This allows LG to remain one step ahead of the game—always anticipating the needs of tomorrow.
A great deal of your daily living takes place in the kitchen. So, we put careful research and deliberation into our kitchen designs to meet your needs. The basic elements of Concept, Style, Interface, and Finish are carefully integrated in each of LG's digital kitchen appliances.
Utilizing the four basic design elements described above, LG is increasingly expanding the boundaries of digital and stylistic sophistication to reflect the specific needs and preferences of its demanding customers. We aim to create convenient, spacious, and stylish refrigerators adapted for different users. Examples include the bottom-freezer refrigerator, the side-by-side refrigerator and the unique three- and four-door French Door refrigerator. From design innovations such as one of the tallest filtered-water dispensers, able to fill entire pitchers in a snap; to the ingenious in-door icemaker; which provides more shelf space by placing the icemaker in the freezer door, LG is working hard to sustain its reputation as the industry's design innovation leader.
Since everyone’s needs are different, LG offers two different refrigerator styles, each with an array of features.
LG brings innovation and excitement to side-by-side refrigerators. LG’s innovative, side-by-side fridges, boast smart features such as digital temperature controls to compensate for subtle changes in temperature, an XtraSpace ice-and-water dispenser built into the freezer door, a fully-adjustable shelving system, and stylish, contoured doors with hidden hinges.
LG combination fridge/freezers epitomise convenience and style. Their fresh food section is placed at eye level for easy access to the foods you reach for most, while flexible shelving and separate, digital temperature controls provide maximum space and convenience.
Nowadays, you can get clear, cool, filtered water right from your refrigerator’s ice and water dispenser.
LG refrigerators use a premium water filtration system that removes 99.35% of lead and many other water contaminants, without removing the beneficial fluoride, providing a great tasting, healthy refreshment.
LG’s Tall Ice & Water Dispensing Center is 13” tall—one of the industry’s tallest—making it easy to fill just about anything, from coffee pots to pitchers, while offering all the ice and filtered water you love. This new ice and water system features a flush-mount dispenser with monochromatic design to enhance the already premium styling. In addition to the easy-access water tap, a slide-out pitcher rest and dual activation features are also available for your convenience.
