The company is bringing the ultimate in mobile phone luxury to Whistler Village with a spectacular swimwear and lingerie fashion show and big air extravaganza to celebrate the recently launched White Chocolate (LG 8500) phone and unveil the new LG Chocolate™ Flip (LG 8600) phone. The lucky contest winner and a friend will receive airfare and three nights’ accommodation at the TWSSF courtesy of LG Electronics Canada, with VIP privileges for the opening night, which includes a cool concert and ultra-chic LG swimwear and lingerie fashion shows.  The TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival is a 10-day celebration of sports, music and arts and draws a crowd of over 250,000 each year.

“LG Electronics Canada is very excited to bring our Chocolate Swim Wear and Lingerie show to the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival,” said Andrew Barrett, VP of Marketing for LG Electronics Canada. “We want to start off the week long party with our consumers in style through a unique celebration of  technology, music, action sports and fashion  by bringing the Ultimate LG Whistler Experience to Canadians. The launch of the TELUS Chocolate™ Flip Phone and White Chocolate™ at TWSSF is a great opportunity for the LG brand to engage style-savvy Canadians in a truly unique setting - Whistler.”

The ‘Ultimate LG Whistler Experience’ winner will have their hands full of fashionable festivities. Snow lovers and the style-savvy will enjoy three seductive fashion shows featuring the sultry Chocolate™ Phone Series paired with lingerie and swimwear creations by Shan, a top Montréal design house. Following the fashion shows, The LG Chocolate™ Flip competition will showcase top boarders celebrating the unveiling of the new Chocolate™ Flip Phone with their own unique interpretation of the word “Flip”.

Additionally a fleet of 2007 GM vehicles will be waiting at the GM Demo Tent, next to the TELUS Conference Centre in Whistler village.  Whether you’re into a Pontiac Solstice, Cadillac Escalade, or any of the other stylish vehicles onsite, the keys will be in the ignition and visitors can test drive the cars throughout Whistler Village.  Those who go for a spin will also have a chance to win some very stylish prizes, including the new Chocolate phone from LG.

‘We are pleased to be associated with LG and feel the opportunity to test drive our exciting vehicles and the chance to win an LG Chocolate phone adds to the Telus World Ski and Snowboard festival experience” said Maryse Poitras, Metro Market Manager, General Motors of Canada.
