Poor Sound Quality – Sound Test

 1. 

 Should customers express concerns over poor sound quality on screen, have them test it.


 2.

 Press HOME > navigate to SETUP > press ENTER > On-screen display menu will appear

 3.

 Scroll down to SUPPORT > press ENTER

 4.

 Bring navigation cursor over Sound Test > press ENTER

 5.

 If the sound test doesn’t sound good > select Yes > confirm with customer service required

 6.

 If the sound test is fine > select No > press EXIT > confirm with customer issue elsewhere

 7.

 Have customer check for problematic connections or external devices other than TV

 

Please note that said feature was introduced on 2011 flat panel display models.

 



Newer models' "Sound Test" feature has been moved to the Audio

page of the on-screen menu.
