YOUTUBE- POOR STREAMING QUALITY

Poor streaming quality is often the result of a low network connection speed. If you experience poor quality video, or videos have to stop and buffer frequently then the bandwidth of the home network may be insufficient. Network ready Blu-ray players will scan the available bandwidth and adjust the quality of the video so that it is presented without interruption.

The home network must meet the necessary speed requirements

For a smooth playback experience, a broadband internet connection is recommended.

YouTube requires a download speed of at least 3 Mbps (Megabits per second) for High Definition streaming.

YouTube requires a download speed of at least 1 Mbps for Standard Definition streaming.

Note: This does not mean that if your network meets the minimum requirements that you will have uninterrupted playback.

Perform a network speed test

Network speed can be tested by accessing: http://www.speedtest.net/ .

Note: For the best streaming experience, LG recommends a download speed of at least 5 Mbps. If your network speed meets the requirements, check for software updates.

If your network speed is lower than 1-3 Mbps, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider to reset the signal.

If your network speed is well over 1-3 Mbps, attempt to stream an HD quality preview from any Premium Video Content Provider to test the network connection further.
