CONNECTING EXTERNAL DEVICES-GAME SYSTEM

High Definition Connection

If the game system being connected is capable of high definition, HDMI or Component cables are needed.

For all other devices, Component will send a 720p signal to the television if the external device supports 720p.

Each external device that supports 1080p will send a 1080p signal with HDMI

HDMI cables will connect two devices by inserting the HDMI cable into the HDMI Out on the game system and then to HDMI IN on the television.

Component cables will connect two devices by inserting the Component Video/Audio cables (Red, Blue, Green, Red, White) into the Component Out on the game system and then to Component In on the television.

Standard Definition Connection

If the game system being connected is not capable of high definition, Composite (AV) or Coaxial (Coax, Antenna) cables are needed for a standard definition connection.

Most, if not all devices whether Standard Definition or High Definition, come with Composite or Coaxial connections.

AV cables will connect two devices by inserting the AV cable into the AV Out (Red, White, Yellow) on the external device and then to AV In on the television.

The Coax cable will connect two devices by inserting the Coax cable into the Antenna out (screws into the unit) on the external device and then to Antenna In on the television.
