DOOR HANDLES ARE LOOSE
If the handles on your refrigerator are loose, this usually requires only a simply adjustment.
If the handle is warped or bent, the damage could prevent it from attaching properly. If this is the case, the handle will need to be replaced.
There are different methods to attach the handle, depending on the type of handle used on your model. Some handles screw onto the door via a 2.5mm (3/32”) Allen wrench, and others will slide onto and secure on a bolt that protrudes from the face of the door. In either case, if the handle isn’t attached properly, it will feel loose as you open and close the doors. Refer to your owner’s manual for specific instructions on how to attach your handles.
If the mounting fasteners are loose, the handles will not attach securely to the door of the refrigerator. You can tighten the mounting fasteners with a ¼” Allen Wrench (for most models). However, if you are unable to tighten these bolts so that the handles attach firmly, then your refrigerator may require service.
