WARM AIR VENTING OUT FROM

UNDERNEATH

Warm air venting from underneath

Cause

The air cooling the compressor, from the fan, exits out to the sides and also to the floor. That

is perfectly normal. The compressor requires good aeration for optimal efficiency. Considering

a refrigerator is the only household appliance constantly running and the compressor can account

for up to 80% of the refrigerator’s power consumption, great air circulation around the appliance

will be beneficial to the product and utility bill.
