OE ERROR CODE – DRAIN FILTER ISSUE

 

 

“OE” Error Code

 

Issue 

 Tub cannot drain if the filter of the drain pump is clogged.

 Regular cleaning and maintenance is necessary in order to avoid laundry debris, trinkets and

 residue from accumulating inside the filter.


How to clean drain filter

 (When cleaning the drain filter a lot of water can spill on the floor. Be careful with this if you

  have solid wood flooring. Have an empty container nearby prior to accessing filter.) 


 - If it’s okay to spill water on the floor:

 ①  You will notice a large cap and residual water hose when you open the cover located on the

      lower left side of the washing machine.

      (In some models, cover is located on the lower right side of the appliance)

 ②  Turn the large cap counterclockwise to remove it.

      Remove residual water and any trapped foreign objects clogging plastic device.  No need to

      touch the residual water hose.

 ③  Clean filter thoroughly and reassemble it.

 

 - If it’s not okay to spill water on the floor:

 ①  You will notice a large cap and residual water hose when you open the cover located in the

      lower left side of the washing machine.

      (In some models, cover is located on the lower right side of the appliance)

 ②  To prevent floor from getting wet, place an empty container or basin under the cover.
 ③  Unsecure residual water hose and pull out the cork from it. Fill the basin with water.
       Always hold the hose when cork is removed.

 ④  If water stops coming out, re-cork the hose and secure it to its original place.

 ⑤  Turn the large cap counterclockwise to remove it. Clean filtering device thoroughly then

      reassemble it into place.

 

 

 

 ① Open the cover with a coin or finger
 ②
Remove the hose cork and drain off water
 ③
Turn the filter cap counterclockwise to disassemble filter

 ④ Remove foreign material and wash filter with running water in the sink
 ⑤ Recap the hose, secure it in place, reinsert the
filter and close cover
