Frozen Display

A frozen display or a display that seems to be stuck on one screen can be caused by software or hardware issues.

- If your display is not responding at all, remove the battery from your phone for a moment to make sure it is completely powered off. Reinstall the battery, power the phone back on, and see if the display is responding.

- If your display is still not responding correctly you may need to send your phone in for warranty repair.

Blank Screen

A blank or solid black screen can be caused by many things, such as the phone not powering on, a malfunctioning battery, a defective or malfunctioning display screen, and/or liquid or physical damage to the phone or battery.

- Make sure the phone is powering on. While the phone is off and the charger is plugged in, hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds. Do you notice any signs that the phone is powering on?

- If the phone is not powering on, please refer to "Power and Charging Issues".

- If the phone is powering on, but the display is blank, it may need to come in for warranty repair.

Touch Screen Not Working

A touch screen that does not respond to any touch or responds incorrectly for the area of the screen that has been touched can be the result of software or hardware issues.

- Some touch screen devices have a calibration adjustment setting that needs to be done occasionally. If your touch screen is responding, but not responding correctly for the area of the screen you have touched, you may need to redo the calibration adjustment. If your phone has this option it will usually be located in the "Settings Menu" and then "Display" or "Display Settings".

- If your touch screen is not responding at all, remove the battery from your phone for a moment to make sure it is completely powered off. Reinstall the battery, power the phone back on, and see if the touch screen is responding.

- If your touch screen is still not responding or not responding correctly you may need to send your phone in for warranty repair.
