SPEAKER, MICROPHONE, AND AUDIO

Audio problems with cell phones can vary greatly, but with just a few exceptions they are normally due to some type of hardware problem.

- If you are having trouble hearing the person that is speaking to you, and you are sure the volume is adjusted correctly, it is most likely an issue with the earpiece speaker in the phone. Some phones use a separate speaker for the speaker phone function that you can try. You can also try using a wired or Bluetooth headset to see if you can hear the other person that way.

- If the person you are speaking with is having a hard time hearing you, it is most likely an issue with the microphone in the phone. Again you can try using a wired or Bluetooth headset to see if that makes a difference.

- If you are having trouble hearing the phone ring or play media, and you are sure the volume is adjusted correctly, it is most likely an issue with the speaker in the phone. It would normally be the same speaker that is used for the speaker phone function. Again you can try using a wired or Bluetooth headset to see if you can hear the media being played from the phone.

* If you believe it is a hardware problem please contact LG to see about your warranty or repair options.
