LG G3 D852 EMAIL BASICS

You can use the Email application to read email from services other than Gmail™. The Email application supports the following account types: POP3, IMAP and Microsoft Exchange (for Enterprise users). To setup email click here.

Create an Email
  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Email 

  2. Tap the Compose icon  to compose a new message.

  3. Tap Attach to attach a file.

  4. Tap Send when finished.

Read an Email
  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Email 

Note: When new email arrives, a notification appears in the Status bar. Drag the Notifications panel downward and tap the email notification.

  1. Tap Inbox in upper left corner for a quick view of accounts.  Tap Combined view Inbox to view all emails in one chronological thread or an individual folder under each respective account.

  2. Tap the subject of an email to view.

  3. If there are attached files, they will display under the subject line. Tap the file to view.

  4. Tap Download button next to the attachment you want to save to memory.

Note: From the Home Screen, tap Apps > File manager > All files > Internal storage > Download . Your saved files are located in this folder.

Email Settings

General settings

In General settings, you can set your default email account, change how email is displayed, change how images load, select deleting options, and view trusted certificates. To access General settings:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Email > Menu key > Settings > General settings.

Account settings

In Account settings, you can change how your account and name are displayed, create and use a signature, set the number of emails to show, set download size, change account & sync settings, set securty settings, display email notifications and set notification sounds, set server settings when you have issues with your email, and remove your account. Options may vary depending on the email account type added.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Email > Menu key > Settings and tap an email account.
