LG-l on ettevõttetasemel uurimis- ja arendusorganisatsioon, mis hõlmab kõiki meie tootealasid. Organisatsioon pühendub baastehnoloogiate uuringutele, kvaliteedikontrollile ja standardite täitmisele, et parendada seeläbi oma toodete kvaliteeti ja toodetega seotud tuumiktehnoloogiate uuringuid ja disaini.
LG Electronicsil on ka eraldi uurimis- ja arenduskeskused, mille projektid suunavad tähelepanu spetsiaalsetele tootealadele toodetega seotud rakenduste ja muude tehnoloogiate väljaarendamiseks. LG Electronicsi innovatsioonide alustalaks on uuringud ja arendustöö.
