LG Electronics Received CES Innovations Awards in 11 Areas
LG Electronics’ excellence in design and technology has won 11 prestigious 2011 International CES® Innovations Awards, including “Best of Innovations” recognition in the Video Display category for the dramatic new 55-inch class FULL LED HDTV with 3D capability and Internet connectivity. LG home appliances, business solutions and home entertainment products were honored with awards in nine highly-competitive categories.

LG has enjoyed particular success with nine products, among them the ultra slim & light design LED TV, 2-meter tall bottom-freezer refrigerator, front-loading washing machine, solar light wave oven, an LED lamp to effectively replace existing halogen lamps, and more.

A total of nine LG products have received a Red Dot Design Award. These included the first Windows Mobile 7 phone, LG Optimus 7 (LG E900); the perfect LW7700 LED TV made from aluminum; the CYKING, the smallest and lightest of any cyclone-typed cleaners; and the ROBOKING robot vacuum cleaner to name a few.
