LG is the official sponsor of the Olympic Lyon Football club, France’s famous football team.
Launched in 1950, the Olympic Lyon is a pro football club that belongs to the country’s pro football League 1. The club, which once suffered setbacks due to a management crisis, maintained a middle upper ranking since 1989, and has recently been climbing the ranks.
For four consecutive years from 2001 to 2005, the Olympic Lyon club was a champion, rising to the top rank. In the 2003/2004 seasons, it posted its 1,000th victory, an achievement that grabbed the attention of football fans.

Its Football Academy for Youth and Children, which has been operating since 1980, has been successful, boosting the influential power of the club in Europe’s football.
With LG’s sponsorship and the support of fans, Olympic Lyon is moving ahead as France’s top-ranking team.
