Development of the next-generation "Multi V Super III" system air conditioner
This air conditioner provides the world's best energy efficiency, with its yearly energy consumption approximately 20% lower than conventional products.
Developed the world's most efficient thin-film solar cell
LG achieved the world's best 11.1% energy efficiency in large-area thin-film solar cells.
Launched the chiller system for high-rise buildings and the combined heating and air conditioning system. The chiller system with its cooling functions was designed for high-rise buildings, and heating systems were enhanced to provide an instant water heating function.
Launched a residential air conditioner that provides higher satisfaction to customers with more features for added convenience.
The world's first stand-mounted air conditioner with an embedded human sensor robot that aims the cool air directly at the person, and a filter cleaning robot that keeps the system clean.

Launched the renewable hybrid system.
