Mobile Communications

A world of true mobility, delivering unrestricted freedom for communication anywhere, anytime.

LG Electronics Mobile Communications leads the most advanced technologies that have the potential to reshape your everyday life.

Today's telecommunications allow for a truly wireless, universal environment with virtually unrestricted freedom, where a wide range of information can be accessed worldwide via a variety of multimedia mobile devices.

High-speed network technology allows you to download and watch movies in a fast-moving vehicle. Pointing your smart phone camera at nearby buildings or surroundings will display related information, such as names and history, acting as a useful guide when traveling. Pointing it to a book will display information about the book and readers' reviews in real time. Smart phones bring with them a whole new lifestyle, where it is not necessary to try on the clothes you want to buy or worry about your new hairstyle.

However, the innovations not only relate to the services available. The input method that had been used for over two decades is about to change, too. You can use both your fingertips and your voice to enter search strings and Twitter messages. Advances in mobile communications technology have opened up a new era of unrestricted freedom of communication to everyone.

Leading this wave, LG Electronics is focusing on securing core technologies for the mobile and PC markets and strives to provide innovative service through an advanced mobile environment.

Thanks to its many years of technological research and product development, the company has achieved outstanding success and popularity in the mobile phone industry. Right across its world class product lines, from touch phones and smart phones to watch phones, LG has demonstrated its capability to lead the global market trends. Notably, in the Long Term Evolution (LTE) category, the company is renowned for its world-first development of LTE chipset and handover technology.

In the PC market, LG is working tirelessly to develop technologies to bring a new UX environment to users. With LG, the future is one step closer.
