  • (1) Warranty is valid only for authorized product; parallel import and counterfeit product are invalid.
  • (2) Customer is expected to deliver and collect their products to and from the LGEHK Service Centre. This warranty does not include in home repair service with the expectation of Monitor and TVs with a diagonal screen size of 20 inches or above.
  • (3) If check-up or repairing is required; customer must present the original invoice. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the cost of the services provided.
  • (4) All parts replaced within the warranty period are the property of LGEHK. We have rights to handle those parts as necessary.
  • (5) For products don’t have in home repair service, customer is expected to deliver and collect their products to and from the LGEHK Service Centre.
  • (6) Warranty will be voided under the following conditions, and LGEHK reserves the right to refuse providing service and/or shall demand charges for any costs of servicing from customer:
    • a) Product has been modified or repaired outside of LGEHK Service Centre.
    • b) Product has been mishandled, negligence such as leaving batteries unattended and thereby causing battery fluid leakage, applying the wrong voltage, forces of nature or accident.
    • c) Installation maintenance of the product without following proper instruction from manufacturer.
    • d) The model number of the item code attached has been erased or modified,
    • e) The content of warranty policy has been modified without authorization.
  • (7) LGEHK is not responsible for any loss of date or system corruption during the process of transportation or repair to and from the Service Centre and due to the forces of nature.
  • (8) LGEHK reserves the right to terminate or modify the terms of this warranty card. For exceptional cases, subject to report of our investigation, we reserve the right to terminate this warranty card or modify terms of warranty policy.
  • (9) Our company will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused by the breakdown of the product.
  • (10) This warranty card is restricted within Hong Kong / Macao SAR only.
  • (11) Transportation charges to outlying island shall be borne by customer.
  • (12) LGEHK and its Authorized Service Centres reserve the right to use factory remanufactured parts or whole products for the same or functionally equivalent model when conducting product repairs and replacement.
  • (13) If the product needs to be repaired, the repair parts may be new or factory remanufactured.
  • (14) Due to the complexity of LCD displays on TV, dead or bright pixels may sometimes occur. If the LCD panel have 5 dead / bright pixel or above occurs within 10 days from the date of purchase, then you can ask to replace the product.
  • (15) OLED Signage : 3 Years or 20,000 hours of usage whichever comes first (18 hours per day) and Contents type is No Static Image/ Dynamic Contents Only.

Mobile Phone/ Tablet Warranty Policy

  • (1) LG Electronics Hong Kong Limited (hereafter LGEHK) provides warranty period from the date of purchase are as follows and only valid for mobile/tablet purchase in Hong Kong / Macau only (any promotion gift item is not included):
    • i. Handset/Tablet : 12 months
    • ii. Embedded Battery : 12months*
    • iii. Removable Battery : 6months
    • iv. Charger : 6months
    • v. Hand free earphone : 3months
    • vi. Data cable : 3months
  • (2) Warranty is valid only for authorized product; parallel import and counterfeit product are invalid.
  • (3) Product is under warranty against manufacturing defects by reason of faulty workmanship or internal electronic parts materials. This warranty does not cover defects arising from natural wear of the product (Including casing, key pad, display, antenna, and accessories, etc.)
  • (4) If check-up or repairing are required, customer must present the original invoice and warranty card on which the relevant IMEI number was printed. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the costs of the services provided.
  • (5) All parts replaced within the warranty period are the property of LGEHK. We have rights to handle those parts as necessary.
  • (6) Data stored in handsets/tablets may be lost after the repair and thus should be properly stored by customer beforehand.
  • (7) Warranty will be voided under the following conditions, and LGEHK reserves the right to refuse providing service and/or shall demand charges for any costs of servicing from customer:
    • i. Product has been tampered with or undergone unauthorized repair by third parties, improper installation, alternation or modification to this product, or damage, tearing, removal of the warranty sticker that is affixed to this product.
    • ii. Defects arising from misuse, mishandling, abuse, accident, negligence and damage caused directly or indirectly by fire, flood, liquid water, corrosion, convulsion of nature, war, riot or civil commotion.
    • iii. The IMEI number sticker on this product has been erased or modified.
    • iv. The content of warranty policy has been modified without authorization.
  • (8) LGEHK is not responsible for any loss of data or system corruption during the process of transportation or repair to and from the Service Centre and due to the forces of nature.
  • (9) LGEHK reserves the right to terminate or modify the terms of this warranty card. For exceptional cases, subject to report of our investigation, we reserve the right to terminate this warranty card or modify terms of warranty policy.
  • (10) Our company will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused by the breakdown of the product.
  • (11) This warranty card is restricted within Hong Kong SAR / Macau SAR only.
  • (12) LG and its Authorized Service Centers reserve the right to use refurbished or reconditioned parts or whole products for the same or functionally equivalent model when conducting product repairs and replacement.

  • (1) LG Electronics Hong Kong Limited (hereafter LGEHK) provides a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. The design of this product is not valid for commercial purpose.
  • (2) Warranty is valid only for authorized product; parallel import and counterfeit product are invalid.
  • (3) Customer is expected to deliver and collect their products to and from the LGEHK Service Centre. This warranty is applied in vacuum cleaner only.
  • (4) If check-up or repairing is required; customer must present the warranty card and original invoice. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the cost of the services provided.
  • (5) All parts replaced within the warranty period are the property of LGEHK. We have rights to handle those parts as necessary.
  • (6) For vacuum cleaner, customer shall bear the cost of transportation to and from the service centre.
  • (7) Warranty will be voided under the following conditions, and LGEHK reserves the right to refuse providing service and/or shall demand charges for any costs of servicing from customer:
    • a) Product has been modified or repaired outside of LGEHK Service Centre.

  • (2) Warranty is valid only for authorized product; parallel import and counterfeit product are invalid.
  • (3) If check-up or repairing are required; customer must present the warranty card and original invoice with serial no.. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the cost of the services provided.
  • (4) All parts replaced within the warranty period are the property of LGEHK. We have rights to handle those parts as necessary.
  • (5) Warranty will be voided under the following conditions, and LGEHK reserves the right to refuse providing service and/or shall demand charges for any costs of servicing from customer:
    • a) Product has been modified or repaired outside of LGEHK Service Centre.

  • (3) If check-up or repairing is required; customer must present the original invoice. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the cost of the services provided.
  • (4) All parts replaced within the warranty period are the property of LGEHK. We have rights to handle those parts as necessary.
  • (5) For Air Purifier, customer shall bear the cost of transportation to and from the service centre.
  • (6) Warranty will be voided under the following conditions, and LGEHK reserves the right to refuse providing service and/or shall demand charges for any costs of servicing from customer:
    • a) Product has been modified or repaired outside of LGEHK Service Centre.

MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY

FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, PLEASE KEEP THIS WARRANTY CARD AND YOUR INVOICE TO VALIDATE PROOF OF PURCHASE.

LG Laptop Limited Warranty –Hong Kong & Macau

The limited warranty specified below (hereinafter “Limited Warranty”) applies to LG Laptop(s) (hereinafter “Product(s)”) supplied by LG ELECTRONICS Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter “LG”).Your Product will be repaired or replaced, at LG’s option, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, during the warranty period (“Warranty Period”) listed below, effective from the date of original consumer purchase (“Date of Purchase“) of the Product. This Limited Warranty is good only to the original purchaser (“Customer”) of the Product and effective only when purchased in Hong Kong and Macau.

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD

Labor: Two (2) Year from the Date of Purchase.
Parts: Two (2) Year from the Date of Purchase (Except Battery)
Battery: Six (6) Months from the Date of Purchase

Replacement Products and Repair Parts may be new or factory remanufactured and are warranted for the remaining portion of the original Product’s warranty period.

All replaced Products and Parts shall be the property of LG.

HOW SERVICE IS HANDLED – CARRY-IN REPAIR SERVICE

If check-up or repairing are required, customer must present the Warranty Card and the original invoice as evidence of the date of purchase for proof of warranty. Upon any failure to present the above documentation, customer must pay for the costs of the services provided.

Customer shall bear the cost of shipping (including shipping damage or loss) the Product to LG or its Repair Center.

Concerning Pixel Functionality

Your Product’s display contains many individual pixels, and typically a small number of pixels do not function normally.

Your Product’s display has been inspected and is in compliance with the manufacturer’s specification, indicating that any pixel defects do not affect the operation or use of your Product’s display.

What this Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Defects arising from misuse, mishandling, abuse, accident, negligence and damage caused directly or indirectly by fire, flood, liquid water, corrosion, convulsion of nature, war, riot or civil commotion.
  • Any software programs, including the operating system and software added to the Product, whether pre-loaded or shipped with the Product, or installed after purchase.
  • Any failure or damage caused by use, installation, or connection to a non-LG approved product, component or part.
  • Any non-LG branded products, including those that LG may produce and provide with or integrate into the Product at the Customer’s request.
  • Any loss or damage of confidential, proprietary, or personal information found on the Product at time of service.
  • Any loss or damage of any corrupted or removable media data.
  • Any failure or damage caused in shipping or transit. The external housing and cosmetic parts shall be free of defects at the time of shipment and, therefore, shall not be covered under these limited warranty terms.
  • Any failure or damage resulting from improper installation, including, but not limited to, incorrect or insufficient power supply.
  • Any Product that has been modified or incorporated into, or with, any other product.
  • Any failure or damage caused by the use of a battery other than one provided by LG or authorized by LG.
  • Removal, defacement or alteration of any original identification labels on the Product or any of its components.
  • Failure of customer to notify LG of the alleged defect or malfunction of the Product during the applicable limited warranty period.

The Cost of repair or replacement under excluded circumstances shall be borne by the Customer.

Limitation of Warranty Scope

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THE PRODUCT(S) IS LIMITED IN DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL LG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST GOODWILL, LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, WORK STOPPAGE, PRODUCT(S) FAILURE, IMPAIRMENT OF OTHER GOODS, COSTS OF REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT(S), LOSS OF USE, INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT(S). LG’S TOTAL LIABILITY, IF ANY, DAMAGES OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE INVOICE VALUE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) FURNISHED, WHICH IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM OR DISPUTE.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES THE CUSTOMER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS.
