Water filters have come a long way in reducing the harmful contaminants found in drinking water, also making great strides in the way they accomplish the task. Study shows that water consumption is on the rise, and people are drinking more bottled water everyday. Unfortunately, not many consumers know that filtered water is actually held to higher purity standards than bottled water. Bottled water often contains more bacteria and impurities than tap water, because the EPA regulates municipal water systems more stringently than the FDA regulates bottled water. Water filters have made great strides in reducing the harmful contaminants found in drinking water; however, most filters also remove essential micronutrients, such as calcium and fluoride as well.
LG refrigerators use a premium water filtration system that removes 99.35% of lead and many other water contaminants, without removing the beneficial fluoride, providing a great tasting, healthy refreshment.

Mould thrives in damp environments, making a refrigerator the perfect home for it to flourish—especially over the course of five, ten, even fifteen years. That’s why all LG refrigerator gaskets are treated with Bioshield™, a proprietary anti-microbial agent that prevents mould growth from causing gasket and seal distortion, thereby prolonging the life of your refrigerator.
This is a special lattice-type box cover which maintains moisture at an optimum level. Moisture from stored food is evaporated and then condensed on the lattice, maintaining the correct balance of moisture in the box.
No Frost eliminates the hassles of defrosting. Thanks to our proprietary LG No Frost technology, the inside of your refrigerator will remain de-iced, odour-free, and easy to clean. And, because the refrigerator isn’t working harder to compensate, it saves you money on your energy bills.
Even temperature: Powerful cold air circulation means that the internal temperature remains consistent throughout.
Fast Cooling: Faster cooling means that air in the interior of the fridge is cooled quickly, especially when the door has been opened.
