New Delhi, 22nd June, 2012:  LG Electronics, a leading mobile phone provider, today announced the enhancement of the Optimus family with the launch of LG Optimus 3D MAX and Optimus L7 Smartphones. These beautifully designed, lightweight smartphones combine an unmatched viewing experience with incredible performance. Consumers no longer have to restrict themselves to the limited capabilities of an average Smartphone, as the newly launched Optimus phones allow them to design their own smart lives.

If you simply can’t get enough of 3D in the Cinema or in your swanky home theatre, LG Optimus 3D MAX is the answer that promises 3D on the go without glasses.  It has a 4.3-inch screen with a (WVGA) resolution, plus Gorilla Glass 2. Specs include a dual-core 1.2Ghz OMAP4430 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, two 5 megapixel cameras, and a 1,520mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 2.3, Gingerbread and is 9.6mm thick.

According to Mr. Soon Kwon, President South West Asia Region & MD LG India, “LG Optimus 3D MAX is a natural and powerful evolution of LG Optimus 3D. Building on the phenomenal success of the original Optimus 3D, we are proud to unveil this ultimate Smartphone. In 2012, we will take LG’s leadership in Speed, Screen and Content to a whole new level. With the Optimus 3D MAX, we want to set new standards of quality viewing and powerful performance on mobiles packed in a slim and modern design”.

LG has also customized some of the software on the phone to take complete advantage of the glasses-less 3D capability. The 3D Converter takes 2D content from apps like Google Earth and Maps and converts them to 3D for your viewing pleasure. A 3D video editor is also included, allowing you to edit your video footage in 3D in realtime, and a 3D Hot Key allows you to quickly switch between 2D and 3D views.

With Optimus 3D MAX, you’ll be able to push video content via MHL HDMI or wirelessly thanks to DLNA, at resolutions up to 1080p. 3D content shot using the phone can be pushed out to your TV using either method, provided its 3D ready.

LG also unveiled its new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running smartphone Optimus L7.
The Optimus L7 smartphone comes with L-Style which would help users make better use of its display, navigation and the keyboard.

L-Style’s design philosophy is comprised of five aesthetic elements: Modern Square Style for a comfortable grip, floating mass technology for a slimmer look, seamless layout for a more intuitive arrangement of keys, harmonized design contrast utilizing metallic accents and sensuous slim shape that naturally draws one’s attention.

“Design is consistently an important factor for customers when choosing a mobile phone and with L-Style we’re going to go back to our roots as a company focused on products that fit into the lifestyle of customers. Building on the success of the LG Smartphones, we are proud to unveil the LG Optimus 3D Max & Optimus L7. Optimus series has been testimony to customers’ requirement and latest features makes it an award-winning range”   Mr. Soon Kwon emphasised.

The LG Optimus L7 has a 4.3-inch display that supports WVGA (480x800) pixel resolution and come with a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash at the back and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
