LG Launches World’s First Curved OLED TV in India, Priced at 9,99,000 INR

LG electronics today announced two new products for the Indian market. The company today focused on curves around everybody’s life, be it eyes, the way we pray from God etc. Having said that, LG today launched two curved devices in the market, LG G Flex and the world’s first curved OLED TV - 55EA9800.

The LG 55EA9800 is a 55 inch Television which features a four color pixel technology adding a white sub-pixel to the conventional red, green and blue pixels. This new television from the company is not only curved but is also fairly thin, as the display on this device is just 4.3 mm. LG claims that the curved OLED TV features perfect contrast, absolute motion clarity and a great display.

The LG 55EA9800 comes equipped with with LG’s Clear Speakers, which matches the audio quality of movie theaters. This television has a two channel speaker system that consists of thin ceramic film speakers which produces the desired sound. This new television from LG has a magic remote which has features like Gesture, Pointing, Wheel, Voice, and Universal Control. The company claims that this remote is the most convenient and advanced TV remote.

The Red Dot design award winning television has a crystal transparent stand and some user friendly controls. The buttons on the television are touch sensitive and are extremely easy to use. 

The LG Curved OLED 55EA9800 is available across all LG outlets and is priced at a whooping 9,99,000 Rupees. At this price you would expect Ultra High Definition Video playback but this new television from LG only offers standard Full HD video.
