Hard Reset Guide for LGE612 (Optimus L5)

 

In case a E612 phone  gets pattern locked & user does not remember the pattern,

then the phone can be unlocked by clicking on the "forgot pattern"  option in lock screen.

Phone will prompt for the Backup PIN & Gmail ID & password which was being used in the phone.

By entering the Backup PIN or the Gmail user ID & Password, phone can be unlocked.

 

 

However if user does not remember the Backup PIN or the Gmail ID & Password details or

if user has not logged in with his Gmail ID, then the phone can be unlocked by doing Hard Reset.

 

The process to do hard reset for E612 is explained as under :

 

 

In Power Off condition, Press & Hold the "Volume Down Key" + "Power Key" with your left hand

When the LED at the bottom of the phone lights up, Release the "Volume Down Key" + "Power Key"

Just after releasing the keys, press & hold "Home" key for about two seconds.

The phone will turn ON & perform Factory Reset immediately.

 

Note: Hard Reset will delete all data from the phone.
