Heating issue in Optimus G Pro :

The phone may be heated when you run apps excessively or when you use the phone for an extended

period of time, more than 10 -15 minutes

When more than 10 games and downloaded apps, respectively, run in the background, the phone may be heated

temporarily. When you use the phone for an extended amount of time and the phone gets heated, check out if any

app running causes excessive traffic.

How to check out apps running in the background :

Menu > App > Run 'Task Manager' > View info about apps running and end it

When the phone is heated while you using it, the max brightness setting is limited.

① Optimus G Pro has the scenario of limiting the max screen brightness setting applied to prevent the

                             phone from being overheated.

When the user’s brightness setting is 100%, and the temperature rises as the phone is used, the max

brightness is lowered gradually to prevent overheating.

When the brightness is set at 100% and the phone’s surface temperature rises while it being used,  the

brightness is controlled as below step by step. (92% => 84% => 76%)

When the brightness is max(100%) and the temp rises while the phone is used, its brightness automatically

turns to 92%. Here, when you try to raise the brightness setting under the Settings Menu, ‘Brightness

setting is temporarily limited’ message pops up. Later on, the brightness is restored to its original setting

automatically when the phone temp lowers.

This scenario limits the max brightness. When the user’s brightness setting is below 76%, the scenario

                            won’t apply.
