LG Unveils Product Range Specifically Designed to Cater to the Needs of the Hospitality Sector

On this occasion, LG Electronics Levant Managing Director, Mr. Tae Hun Ryu explained that the event is aimed at opening future avenues of partnership and collaboration between the Company and entities within the hospitality sector.

He further added that LG Electronics is keen on supporting this particular sector by introducing its flagship product range, thus promising an unforgettable experience for the latter's client base through the elevated standards of in-hotel customer experience the products provide.

He further explained that in the long run LG’s products, once integrated into hotels, would reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) while enhancing environmental corporate responsibility and hotel services and standards.

Mr. Ryu also took the opportunity to thank LG Electronics’ dealers and partners, highlighting their pivotal contributions to the Company’s success.

“Their efforts have enabled the Company to respond efficiently to its clients’ needs by combining high standards of service with speed of delivery,” said Mr. Ryu. He further pointed out that with the number of visitors entering the country reaching 6.6 million last year alone, the Company anticipates fostering long term partnerships with leading hotel chains in Jordan and the region at large.

The event also saw the launch of the 2013 LP860H Cinema Screen LED Hotel TV which serves as a fully integrated platform enabling hotel guests to use hotel facilities via the TV screen.

The new model supports mixed IP and RF environments alongside a multitude of web browsing facilities and HTML5 applications. Its pre-loaded Facebook, Twitter, Youtbue and Google Maps applications enable guests to stay in touch with family and friends listed on their social media networks. Hotel owners will also benefit greatly from such features, as they can now use the new model to link the hotel guests to interactive on-screen room service features, and check out services, while also providing brand information about the hotel chain itself.

Other features that come with this model include Built in WiFi, thus offering guests ongoing connectivity and WiDi EzManager , which is a feature that offers memorable viewing expiereinces for viewers, enabling them to see content from their mobile phones directly on the TV screen . 

The conference also featured a presentation about the new TV model, thus granting attendees a hands-on understanding of its features and the promised added value it offers to its users.
