LG Smart TV - Adaptors for External Connections
LG provides two adaptors of component video connection and composite video connection
to help you connect with other devices. Choose the adaptor that works for your external device.
Adaptors are labeled by type. Component adaptors have red, green and blue plugs.
Composite adaptors have red, white and yellow plugs.
These adaptors allow you to use the side connection panel of your LG TV
for Audio/Video connections.
The component connection transmits analog video and audio signals from an external
device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with a component cable
as shown in the following illustration.
The composite connection also transmits analog video and audio signals from
an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the composite
cable as shown in the following illustration.
