LG Smart World PC website(http://www.lgappstv.com) service termination

■  Details of change - All operating LG Smart World PC websites are to be closed down and all of the menu options will be deleted. - The PC website URL for each country is http: //country code.lgappstv.com and the country codes are as listed in the 'Country List' sheet. - Upon accessing the PC website URL, it will be automatically re-directed to the' Notice of LG Smart World Website.  termination' page. (Not only the website home screen, but also the bookmarked links such as 1: 1 inquiry will be re-directed to the' Notice of LG Smart World Website termination' page.)

■ How to use services after the service termination - LG Smart TV services are available for our users just as before, irrespective of the termination of the LG Smart World website. - Users are able to see information on available apps directly via LG Smart TV.  - LG Smart TV services are available by using the same account used to sign in to the LG Smart World website. New members can sign up via LG Smart TV to use services offered to our members.

■ Inquiries  - If you have any questions after the LG Smart World website is closed, please contact LG Customer Support, or visit the LG Electronics website. 

How to visit the LG Electronics website and make inquiries  Go to www.lg.com/common → Select a country → Go to the Support menu → Select the Email menu → Submit your inquiry

1. Some of the menu (membership registration etc.) are no longer available when I access the Smart World website. 

  Due to the internal policy change, the PC websites for 33 countries have terminated for their service as of January 5th, 2017; thus only remaining 29 countries have sustained for its service.


2. Are you no longer offering smart TV services when the LG Smart World website is terminated? 

LG Smart TV services are available for our users just as before, irrespective of the termination of the LG Smart World website. 

Users are able to sign up or search for available apps directly via LG Smart TV.  If you would like to make an online inquiry, please contact LG Customer Support, or visit the LG Electronics website.    How to visit the LG Electronics website and make inquiries  Go to www.lg.com/common → Select a country → Go to the Support menu → Select the Email menu → Submit your inquiry

3. How do I search for available apps? 

Users are able to search for available apps via LG Smart TV.  webOS model: LG Content Store (or LG Store) 

Netcast model: LG SmartWorld (or LG Apps)

4. I am an already registered member. Where do I log in from now on? 

LG Smart TV services are available for our users just as before, irrespective of the termination of the LG Smart World website. 

LG Smart TV services are available by using the same account to sign in to the LG Smart World website. New members can sign up and log in via LG Smart TV to use services offered to our members

5. Where can I find apps that I installed (downloaded) for my existing account? 

Users are able to see the installed (downloaded) apps on their LG smart TV devices, by following the steps below: 

■ 2016 Models [Home] button on the remote control → Find and run the apps installed on the TV at the bottom of the screen. 

■ 2014(webOS) and 2015 Models [Home] button on the remote control → Find and run the apps installed on the TV by clicking the /// shape on the bottom right of the screen. 

■ 2011/2012/2013/2014 Models (NetCast) [Home] button on the remote control → Find and run the apps installed on the TV by selecting [My app] at the bottom of the screen. 

* Please note that the settings directions and menu names may differ by country and device model.

6. Where do I make online inquiries, if I have questions about other services? 

Please contact LG Customer Support, or visit the LG Electronics website.
