LG Electronics European Shared Service Center B.V. (SC) is located in Amstelveen, and consists of three divisions being the Shared Service Center, Logistics & Services (SVC) and a Supply Chain Management (SCM) division.

The shared European service organization provides support to the European marketing and sales subsidiaries with management and development of financial functions in the area of tax, credit insurance, treasury, product standards and legal affairs.

 

We are looking for the following position within the Human Resources department:

 

Compensation & Benefits Specialist

 

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing the HR administrative systems like GERP & ADP, information sharing with 3rd parties and expat management. Develop and maintain the compensation & benefits related issues to ensure cost effectiveness, efficiency and employee engagement while maintaining equality and non discrimination amongst all processes. Develop and maintain the HR communications, content and formats, employee handbook and others. The Compensation & Benefits Specialist will report to the HR Director and will be part of the HR team, delivering HR support for the SVC, SCM, SC and BN (Sales & Marketing Benelux) divisions.

 

The working activities will be:

  • Implement and maintain a grading structure based on company methodology
  • Benchmark with third parties on all benefits
  • Supply employee information to  third parties and manage the relations
  • Manage expatriate related matters and strive to manage the FSE’s taking ownership for their applications etc.
  • Working with the systems and improve efficiency by innovative thinking
  • Have discussions of improvement and consider working by tenders; evaluate parties and if necessary benchmark other parties
  • Responsible for HR process improvements and related projects, soft landing program, research of Expat applications at other agencies.
  • Complete GTR studies and structured job profiling
  • Organizing tenders; evaluate parties and if necessary benchmark other parties
  • Communications on HR related topics for example Employee Handbook, communications to management, employees, works council and other parties and keeping track of all changes
  • Back up for all HR related tasks

 

 

Result areas:

  • Maintain HR systems and propose process improvements
  • Inform all 3rd parties (pensions, insurances etc.) on employee mobility (starters, leavers and moves to other LG companies)
  • Prepare detailed job descriptions and classification systems and define job levels and families
  • Manage the expatriates related matters and monitor the process, CoC, 30% ruling, soft landing etc.
  • Prepare personnel forecasts for employment needs
  • Manage contracts with vendors to provide employee services, such as ADP or relocation service and provide the necessary information
  • Develop, maintain and identify and implement benefits to increase employee engagement making full use of tax rules and communication means like employee handbook.
  • Keep track of the out-going communication
  • Stay educated of all HR related matters and share this with the HR team

What are we looking for?

 The Compensation & Benefits Specialist has the following knowledge and experience:

  • MBO or higher degree preferably in Human Resources and or Business Administration
  • 1 to 3 years working experience in a similar function preferable within a multinational
  • Extensive knowledge of HR, C&B and Tax regulations and practices
  • Fluent in English and Dutch both written and verbal
  • Advanced user with MS office
