Purpose of Job/Function:

 

-      As (acting) manager of the Process Team you are responsible to improve SCM performance of SVC Parts in Europe.

-      Management of Process Team (performance, reporting, cost efficiency, personnel and optimization of processes).

-      Your specialist task focuses on Inventory Control in its’ broadest sense, including parts scrap and E&O management.

-      Manage & monitor Stock Adjustment Requests

-      Manage the specialist know-how and tasks within the Process Team

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

 

The main focus is to improve processes and procedures, install, enhance and monitor KPI’s, Health Indices in order to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency of spare parts operations.

 

-          Performance: monitor and advise in improvement of SCM activities to meet the agreed operational standards / targets and costs

-          Reporting: organize timely reporting of Process KPI’s and Health Indices

-          Cost efficiency: responsible for minimization of costs related to the field of responsibility

-          Personnel:

  • managing the Process Team
  • managing all personnel related issues
  • responsible for maximum retention of qualified staff
  • responsible for a good balance between available personnel and minimization of personnel costs

-          Data accuracy: responsible for accurate data (given the available tools)

-          Others:

  • Advise the SVC Parts Management in process improvements and required investments
  • Responsible for timely execution of agreed special tasks / projects

-      Timely and reliable reporting

 

Reporting

-      Reports to the Group Leader SVC Parts

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders locally and in Europe

 

Person Profile:

-      Bachelor degree + APICS degree;

-    Minimum 3-years of relevant experience in the area of Inventory control (APICS-degree mandatory)

-    Extensive knowledge of and experience in SCM of service parts in its’ broadest sense (generalist)

-    Proven experience in setting up and maintaining KPI’s;

-    Excellent organization and project management skills

-    Strong  analytical skills;

-    Experience in an environment where industry’s best practice processes, systems and tools have been used;

-    Ability to work in a diverse, global and multicultural environment;

-    Pragmatic with a strategic awareness and an entrepreneurial attitude;

-    Proven excellent leadership and coaching qualities;

-    Able to build relationships with colleagues spread over Europe

-    Ability to determine and steer business implications of change-management

-    To be able to communicate and present to and with different levels within the organization;

-    Job ownership, self competitive and able to motivate staff and stimulate superiors;

-    Fluent in English and preferable another European language in both writing and speaking
