Organisation

SVC Parts Group is responsible for spare parts logistics in Europe: transportation, warehousing, inventory control and after sales service. We deliver to approximately 3.500 Repair Centers on behalf of the 15 European Marketing Subsidiaries.

We are currently looking to fill the following position within the SVC Parts department

 

 

Process Logistics Specialist

 

 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

 

The main focus is to improve processes and procedures, install, enhance and monitor KPI’s, Health Indices in order to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency of spare parts operations.

-          Performance: monitor and advise in improvement of In- and Outbound transportation activities to meet the agreed operational standards / targets and costs

-          Reporting: organize timely reporting of total lead time KPI’s

-          Cost efficiency: responsible for minimization of costs related to the field of responsibility

-          Others:

  • Advise the SVC Parts Management in process improvements and required investments
  • Responsible for timely execution of agreed special tasks / projects

-          Member / leader of special project teams as required

Measurements of tasks and responsibilities 

-       Inbound Transport Lead time and Costs

-       External Transportation Cost and Total Lead time (Transportation Cost Ratio)

-       Warehouse Cost (Warehouse Cost Ratio)

-       Timely and reliable reporting of KPI’s

 

Personal Profile

 

-       HBO degree;

-       Minimum 3-years of relevant experience

-       Extensive knowledge of and experience in SCM of service parts in its’ broadest sense (generalist)

-       Expertise knowledge of In- and Outbound transport operations (Customs, Import Duties, Express services, etc);

-       Proven experience in KPI controlled operations;

-       Job ownership and self competitive;

-       Strong analytical skills

-       Able to work autonomous but a motivated team player as well;

-       Initiative, pragmatic and motivated, positive attitude;

-       Very good written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills

-       Fluent in English language;

-       No 9-5 mentality.
