Why is it difficult to open the freezer door? (Commercial refrigerator, Freezer)
Symptom
■ Difficult to open the freezer door
Cause
■ The door is hard to open again immediately after the freezer is opened and then closed due to lower air pressure in the freezer as warm air enter the freezer gets colder.
How to fix
1. This symptom will disappear after 30 seconds.
2. Wipe the door seal with a wash cloth soaked in warm water as obstacles on the seal can make it more difficult to open the door.
3. Heavy frost buildup inside the freezer can also interfere with the door closing.
4. Remove the frost before use. (for a direct cool refrigerator model)
