Moving apps to an SD card may be useful in case you are running out of internal storage on the phone.
However, not all apps offer the possibility to be moved to an SD card (see examples below. The app developer decides if this option is enabled or not).
To check which apps can be moved to your device's micro SD card, proceed with the following steps:

Go to Apps > Settings > In the 'General' tab select Apps > Under 'Download' tab, select app.

Check if 'Move to SD card' option is available (see examples below) and select it.
Caution:

Preinstalled apps can never be moved to the SD card.

When the SD card is removed, apps stored on the SD card will not work.

Not all LG Android phones support this functionality
