Super Blue Player
The LG Super Blue Player (BH100), which was unveiled at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show back in January 2007, is the world's first dual-format HD player. It is capable of multiple formats including Blu-ray discs, the next generation digital storage technology, and HD-DVD.
Home Audio
The LG Electronics Home Theatre System supports HD video output and uses a wireless speaker system to simplify the complicated cable connections. It has received a positive response from the world market with its vibrant images and rich 3D surround sound.
Optical Storage
We have been the best selling brand in the optical storage industry since 1998. With a global market share of 30%, we're the world's largest manufacturer and OEM supplier. This year, we continue to lead the industry with the most advanced technology: Super Multi Blue, the Blu-ray disc rewriter & HD DVD-ROM drive. In addition to offering cutting-edge technology to our customers, we are adding a "design focused" external DVD RW to our Super Multi series: the new slim, portable, external Super Multi DVD rewriter. Compared to previous portable drives, which were rather bulky, our new slim, portable, external Super Multi is "Stylish & Slim." We have also launched the new Super Multi Security system, featuring SecurDisc"technology. Developed together with Nero®, Super Multi Security meets the need for highly secure data protection and content access control. When writing data in CD and DVD formats, users will experience a new level of data security.
Notebooks
This year, LG is launching notebook PCs that employ the latest wireless network technologies __HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) and WiBro (Wireless Broadband Internet) __to provide our global customers with complete mobility. LG's exclusive cutting-edge technologies, such as CNT (Carbon Nano Tube) thermal technology and triple hexa-band antennas, provide optimized wireless connectivity. This year, we have the R500 15.4" widescreen notebook, which features the latest Intel® Cenrtino® Duo mobile technology, the Santa Rosa platform, and our innovative, high-gloss wave pattern. For the future, we're focusing on responding to the needs of the market in order to ensure that LG notebooks continue to lead the way and set new trends.
