With the intention of creating a cleaner planet and protecting people's health, LG Electronics has adopted an environmental management strategy, developing eco-products while actively supporting out-of-house environmental protection initiatives.

In an effort to respond quickly and efficiently to threats, LG operates continual assessment and monitoring systems. The company also puts environmental management principles into practice by applying an environmentally friendly mindset to the entire production process, from design to development, to production and distribution.

The company is also committed to the necessary research needed to devise more efficient methods of taking-back and recycling end-of-life electronic products. For all these reasons, LG is now well-known as a protector of the environment, and significantly engaged in environmental initiatives inside and out.
